Dianne How To Look Lux in a Black Turtleneck Sweater
When asked to choose one piece of clothing that is essential to creating a lux, classic, elegant look for the fall and winter months, hands down it is the black turtleneck sweater. Inspired by this question, I decided to create this post about how to look lux in a black turtleneck sweater.
I love everything about the look, comfort, style, and versatility of this sweater. I own several, and I find myself reaching for them all fall and winter long.
Buying a high-quality black turtleneck sweater will serve you well. I recommend always purchasing clothing made of natural materials. Although they may cost a bit more, they are worth the additional spend. They tend to be more comfortable, keep their shape and wear beautifully. I would recommend a cashmere or merino wool sweater. Both are fabulous natural materials that drape beautifully and look stylish and elegant for many years. However, a cotton blend is a good choice also. While a quality black turtleneck sweater exudes elegance all by itself, to really dial in the lux-factor, consider adding a signature accessory to your look.

Wearing a black-on-black monochrome outfit always looks elegant. However, when adding the texture of a black leather biker jacket and the shine of a beautiful silver mesh bracelet, the look goes from good to amazing.
