Dianne Classic White Shorts Outfits for Women over 40

You can never go wrong with a pair of classic white shorts and a stylish black blouse!
These are pieces I enjoy all summer long because they are the perfect wardrobe building blocks to create elegant looks that scream style and sophistication.
Whether worn casually with a pair of thongs, or with a jacket and heels, it is easy to look polished and pulled together.
Most of my shorts are purchased from Old Navy. They make excellent quality, reasonably-priced twill shorts in many different styles and colors.
I buy several pairs each year, either to freshen up the well-loved classics or, add a few fun new patterns into my wardrobe.
Pink Blazer or Distressed Denim
Pink, Black, and White, I just love these colors together.
Here I have simply added a pink blazer which I borrowed from one of my work suits to these classic pieces. Voila! You have a perfect outfit for a graduation party or another event where a bit more polish is needed.
By switching out the blazer with a distressed denim jacket, you have another classic outfit that looks effortlessly classic and sophisticated.
Gold & Neutral Accessories
To pull the entire look together, I have chosen my well-loved gold and neutral accessories to pair with my beloved white shorts.
The sophistication of gold strappy sandals add such elegance to classic white shorts.
If gold heels are not your thing, you may consider gold thongs or flats.
Typically I coordinate the metals in my outfits, but mixing metals in these outfits appear more stylish and effortless.
Surprise, surprise, you have caught me wearing my trusty statement jewelry pieces again: pearl stud earrings and silver bracelets. You will find me wearing these pieces all of the time. They are simply elegant and timeless.
